Surf and Sea Views at Pacific Sands Resort, Tofino
There’s nothing more relaxing than watching ocean waves roll in especially when they’re as constant as they are on these cams streamed by the Pacific Sands Resort on Canada’s Vancouver Island.
Those Pacific Ocean breakers landing on the sands of Cox Bay on the northwest coast are a huge draw for surfers during the warmer months of the year and for storm watchers in the winter. According to the resort’s website, the waves that crash onto Cox Bay beach originate in Japanese waters over four thousand miles away. They pick up a lot of debris on the way, most of which gets deposited on the beach. Clean up operations start in Spring and by the time the main season starts, it looks as if winter never raged its fury on Cox Bay at all.
