View of Victoria’s Urban Sprawl and Harbour

As far as exciting skylines go, this one streamed by BRNKL from the Swan Hotel on the port in Victoria, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, leaves something to be desired.

Strain your eyes and you can just see the outline of the city’s urban sprawl across the water. Tune in after dark and you’ll see the lights of Downtown Victoria twinkling from afar as bright as the universe’s most distant star. There’s plenty of vehicle movement on the network of roads circumventing the port though and as Victoria harbor is a major port of call for cruise liners some maritime traffic too. The cruise ships that sail into Victoria disgorge on average half a million visitors a year, but where they go no-one knows as there’s no crowds to be seen on this live feed.
