Royal Albatross Webcam

Located at Pukekura/Taiaroa Head on New Zealand’s South Island, this amazing webcam (known as the RoyalCam!) follows a nest of Northern Royal Albatrosses. Eggs are laid toward the end of each year, the male is referred to as OGK (Its colouring – Orange, Green and Black) and the female is YRK (Yellow, Red, Black). They are 21 and 25 years old respectively.

If you don’t catch the action live, you can rewind the stream and try and spot one of the birds during the day. The scenery, as per New Zealand generally, is stunning regardless!
