Cheetah Cubs at Gdańsk Zoo
There’s no denying these young cheetahs score highly on the cuteness scale. Even when they’re chowing down on a chicken carcass or gnawing a meaty bone, out of one to a hundred, they definitely still get at least a ninety-nine point nine.
Cheetahs are now listed as vulnerable on the endangered species list. These cubs born at Gdansk Zoo in Poland are part of the European Endangered Species Program that hopes to increase their numbers with specialised breeding programs. No, these guys won’t be sprinting across the savannas of Africa at a hundred kilometres per hour anytime soon, but they are helping to make sure their species doesn’t become extinct.
