Any keen trainspotter would probably be more than happy to swap seats with someone working in the Warsaw rail transport office because, as you’ll soon see on this webcam streamed by Urząd Transportu Kolejowego, they get a bird’s eye view of the almost constant stream of trains passing through.

The Warsaw Zachodnia station with its sixteen tracks is one of the busiest in the country. Over eight hundred trains pull into the platforms every day, disgorge their passengers, reload and head out again. It’s pretty non-stop so if you’re taking notes make sure you’ve got your pencil sharpened and your notebook open on a blank page, you’ll need it.
