La Grange Railroad Webcam

When you can’t go round it then go through it is the first thing that comes to mind when viewing this cam. And yes, this feed from La Grange in Kentucky, just like the proverbial chicken and egg conundrum, will probably leave you pondering which came first, the town or the railroad. Strangely enough, in this case, it was the town that came first. La Grange was founded in 1827 and the railroad track appeared on Main Street sometime after that.

If you’re a train addict, you’ll really appreciate these live feeds streamed by Virtual Railfan as you’ll be able to watch the enormous CSX freight trains rolling straight through. It’s an unusual sight that’s for sure. Weirder still is seeing folks driving along the track. Hopefully the locals are in the know about when a train is due. If not, viewing could start to get a bit hair-raising.

  1. I was involved in an accident at the location that this video shows. The accident was about 2-3 weeks ago at approximately 5 pm. Is there a way I could search the past videos to search for this accident? Thank you,
