Wolsztyn Steam Locomotive Depot Webcams

Wolsztyn is a town in Poland where they take steam trains very seriously. In Wolsztyn steam trains are a part of the past, but also very much part of the present day. Stay tuned and you’ll see the locomotives being shunted out of the shed and undergoing pre-service inspections as they’re fuelled up ready to head down the line to pick up passengers waiting on the platform at Wolsztyn station.

Yes, you read that right. These trains are not a tourist attraction, but still in regular daily service and operate between Wolsztyn, Leszno, Poznań and Zbąszynek. They’re rightfully proud of their working steam locomotives in Wolsztyn and every May celebrate their heritage and future with a Steam Locomotive Parade. There’s only one thing to say about that and that’s – chuffing amazing.
