If you’re planning on heading to the lofty heights of the Terminal Tower’s observation deck, you’ll probably be relieved to know that this skyscraper in Cleveland, Ohio, doesn’t really tilt to one side like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. It’s as straight as a die so there’s no risk of sliding off the forty-second floor.

Built in the glamorous late 1920s, Terminal Tower is a fine example of the Beaux Arts architecture of the era. With a total of fifty-two floors and standing at over two-hundred metres high, the tower was once one of the tallest in the world, but has long since been overtaken by multiple others. It’s still a grand sight though and one that gets better at night. Join the cam after dark and it’ll be lit up like the proverbial Christmas tree. The illuminations change frequently so keep popping back to catch the latest light show.
