Neustadt in south-west Germany is built alongside the River Rhine where it flows through the Palatinate wine region. Neustadt plays its part in the local wine industry by hosting the election of the Wine Queen for the annual German Wine Festival and for allowing the Vintners Parade to take place in its streets.
