Seoul Cityscape from Namsan Park

Seoul, the capital of South Korea, is a city surrounded by mountains and particularly scenic when viewed from somewhere like Namsan Park – on a clear day.

Hiking through the park is a popular pastime for the residents of Seoul, and so is climbing up the nine-hundred foot hill known as Mount Namsan to take in the spectacular vistas when they’re not obscured by Asian Dust.

While Seoul is trying hard to become a green city, there’s no controlling what blows in on the wind from China and the Mongolian Desert. If the camera lens appears to be fogged over, it’s not, it’s just Seoul having another bad dust day.
