Montreal Trudeau International Airport Webcam

You may feel slightly cheated when you first join this live feed streamed by Patrick Sénécal of Montreal Trudeau International Airport, especially if it’s mizzling with rain or there’s a bit of ground fog. Don’t be though. Once the haze clears, you’ll discover you’re right in the flight path as the cam is focused directly on the runway and airport cams really don’t get more exciting than that.

Montreal Trudeau International Airport (CYUL) first opened for business way back in 1941. In the following eight decades since then it has expanded operations and is now the third busiest in Canada. That ranking means it sees well over two-hundred thousand aircraft taking off and touching down on its twin runways. Which of the two runways you can see on this feed or where the flights are going to or coming from is anyone’s guess, so on that score you’ll need to use your imagination.

Montreal Trudeau International Airport is the hub for several large airlines including Air Canada, Air Creebec and Air Transat. Between them, and a couple of other companies, they transport over twenty-two million passengers annually. One of the most popular flight routes is between Montreal and Paris which is not surprising as we can all do with a little bit of oh la la in our lives on occasion no matter where you’re from.
