Teign Estuary Webcam
View this live feed in the early hours and you’ll be rewarded with views of the sun rising over the Teign Estuary. Turn the sound off and it’ll be unspoilt by the noise of passing traffic.
The Teign Estuary on the South-West coast of England is where the River Teign flows into the English Channel. The scenic stretch of water separates two popular Devonshire holiday towns, Teignmouth and Shaldon.
To get from one side to the other, like the constant traffic on this live feed is doing, it’s necessary to cross the Shaldon Bridge. Not surprisingly, the bridge’s twenty-four historic spans are starting to feel the strain.

Great Web-sight
We’ve stayed at Devon Valley across the estuary many times
We migrated to Australia 64 years ago. My youth was spent in Teignmouth – 10 years from 1942- It still fills my mind with memories that lift my spirits in my old age. Thank you!
Recently returned from a holiday here – hopefully return sometime soon.
Unfortunately no more Devon Valley – it has gone into receivership – so sad!
