There’s an old saying that goes something like – the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. That doesn’t apply to this grass field at the Kentucky Equine Adoption Center in Nicholasville. The grass is just as green whatever side of the fence the horses are on.

The horses at the center are taking a respite break before they’re adopted. They do more than just graze the day away though. Before they go to their new homes, many of the horses participate in sessions of equine assisted-learning and equine assisted-therapy. That’s something that’s beneficial for both horse and human. Watching the horses via this live feed is therapeutic too. Watch long enough and you’ll see the horses nod their heads in agreement. Leave the sound on and you’ll have, not bluegrass, but birdsong as background music.
