While Torredembarra, a coastal town near Tarragona in the Catalonian region of northeastern Spain, may not have a name that trips off the tongue like Torremolinos or be on the Costa del Sol, it should be more known that what it is. Torredembarra is on the Costa Dorada and has beaches just as good as many of Spain’s top resort areas. Even better, it’s less developed, has a characterful old town and a promenade long enough to keep even the most avid of seafront strollers happy.
