Floating Christmas Tree in Geelong

Geelong is a city in Victoria, Australia, that really knows how to push the boat out when Christmas comes around. They float a Christmas tree on it too!

Geelong is part port and part coastal resort that goes to town on adornments and not just at Christmas time either. From the one-hundred colorful caricature-style statues of local characters known as the Baywalk Bollards to its winding wooden boardwalk, Geelong is unique as far as Australian cities go.

Geelong’s eighty foot high floating Christmas tree lights up Steampacket Quay from mid-November onward. Keep checking the feed as the nightly light and music show changes regularly.
