Newlyn looks like a tranquil Cornish coastal village where not much interrupts the peace and quiet other than the occasional squawking of seagulls. Views can be deceptive. There’s more going on in Newlyn than you’d probably expect and most of it in the harbour area.
Both of these Newlyn Harbour live feeds will give you a glimpse of what really makes this sleepy-looking village tick and that’s fishing. Newlyn has a large fishing fleet made up of all types of craft from pot-loaded crabbers to trawlers.
Newlyn has a busy fish market too where daily catches are auctioned and an annual Newlyn Fish Festival held at the end of August. Fish and fishing are an integral part of life in Newlyn and something that doesn’t go unnoticed. That aside, when you want fresh fish for supper, the Newlyn Harbour webcam alternative feed is great for spying on who’s bringing in the latest haul.

Really good clear webcam. means so much to me, as I live on the East Anglia Lincolneshire border, I visit a friend in Newlyn who lives to the south of the harbour, at least a couple of times a year, and it is nice to be able to look on the webcams and see what is going on there from almost 400 miles away, and to look over Mounts Bay to St Micheals Mount, sometimes see the Scillonian Ferry going out to the Scilly Isles. The Webcams are so good it gives one the feeling that you are there.
Please, when there is Surf could you point the camera at the inside of the harbour wall?

Hi Mate, you’re an absolute legend thank you so much for keeping the camera on the harbour wall. The surf is definitely going to be working later. Hope you get some good footage. It might even break on all three peaks as the tide pushes in the afternoon when it gets to the maximum power of the swell should be between 12 and 3 pm once again.
