Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is a popular airport in the state of Washington. It’s so popular in fact that the city-sized urbanisation that’s grown up around it has been called Sea-Tac in its honour.

The airport covers around ten square kilometres, has three runways, four concourses and two satellite terminals which cater for over fifty million passengers a year. That amount of people on the move requires a lot of planes and there are almost half a million take-offs and landings annually at the airport. Can you see any of that on this webcam? No, but you can see the planes taxiing out of their parking lot and the constant stream of vehicles circling on the ring roads around it.
