For a getaway spot that’s not on everyone else’s agenda of Greek islands to visit, Kythira is a good choice. It’s completely unspoilt.

Kythira is in the Ionian archipelago, but far enough away from the group’s other main islands like Corfu, Kefalonia and Zakanthos not to attract tourists in their masses.

What’s seen through this webcam feed streaming from the village of Kapsáli on Kythira’s south coast is exactly what you get. Scenic bays rimmed with beaches, and colorful fishing boats moored in the harbour. That means plenty of fresh fish on the taverna menus. Doesn’t get better than that!
