Even if you’re not planning on flying in or out of the San Marcos Regional Airport any time soon, these live feeds streamed from there by Berry Aviation are definitely worth a few minutes of your time.

You don’t even need to be a fan of all things aviation to appreciate the quality background music or the pleasant airport status update messages they post at the top of the screen. If San Marcos isn’t renowned as the most chilled-out airport in Texas, it should be. No pilot or passenger could be stressed listening to that soundtrack although hopefully any pilot will have their eye on one of the airport’s three runways and not the live feeds during those crucial moments off take-off and landing.

While the airport was historically an air force base and later became a corps training centre, it’s been a public use facility for decades and a popular one at that.
