This beautiful castle is set on a tidal island and is located in Mount’s Bay near Penzance in Cornwall. You can see it from all around the sea front in the town and on roads heading to and from Land’s End. It has been continuously inhabited since the 1200s.
The identically named Mont-Saint-Michel in Normandy is its French counterpart, though much smaller.
During low-tide you can walk across to the mount across the causeway.

Thanks for posting this amazing cam! This is my favorite place to come and just watch for a hour or two and imagine that I am actually there. Greatly calms my nerves and takes my day for dismal to delightful! I can’t travel there, but this is the next best thing!
