This mini sidewalk garden decorates the entrance to an innovative Manhattan venue where art and food come together in a veritable explosion of colour. Thankfully the webcam is focused on the plants rather than the interior of Pinky’s Space. If it wasn’t you’d need your sunglasses on.

Pinky’s Space is so brightly lit with pink at night it doesn’t just set East Street aglow, but half of Manhattan too. Drop into Pinky’s and you can get a dose of UV while waiting to pick up your brisket and biscuits in a box. There’s Space Cake on the menu too, but who needs a portion of that when just being in Pinky’s is enough to make you think you’re already out of this world.
