Kingsbarns Golf Links Webcam Near St. Andrews
Don’t be too upset if you join this webcam hoping to watch some top notch golf only to see nothing more than a fuzzy white screen. No, the cam isn’t on the blink or out of focus, it just means the proverbial Scotch mist has rolled in and is obscuring the scene.
The Kingsbarns Golf Links are located on the blustery and often foggy east coast of Scotland. There’s no escaping the stiff breeze while playing any of the eighteen holes as they’re almost all bordered by the North Sea. A bit of chilly wind blowing up their kilts has never bothered the hardy Scots though as the course, in one form or another, has been in use since the late 18th century.
Do the golfers lose their balls in the brume? Quite possibly, but there’s always compensation to be had in the clubhouse. What better way to warm up while commiserating a failure to score that elusive hole-in-one, and they are elusive on this scenic but rugged course, than with an indoor version of Scotch mist. Yes, you guessed it – a stiff and reviving Scotch Mist cocktail.
