Climbing Wall Activity at Volume 1 Climbing in Felbridge

The law of gravity dictates that what goes up must come down. There’s no escaping that law for the climbers who tackle the walls at Volume 1 Climbing. Well, probably only momentarily if they decide to take a rest at the top of the wall before beginning their descent. And why shouldn’t they? Reaching any summit, even if it’s the summit of an indoor climbing wall without falling off, is definitely something to celebrate.

On this live feed you’ll be able to watch both novice and expert peakbaggers and boulderers practising their chosen sport. There’s a wall at Volume 1 for every level of climber to pit their skills against and with two-hundred different routes to scale, there’s no chance they’ll get bored before they’ve accomplished scaling them all.

Felbridge, a village in the English county of Surrey, may be a rural urbanisation with only about two-thousand inhabitants, but as you’ll notice from the constant activity on these walls, they’re pretty much climbing bonkers. Whether that’s due to the formation of the local landscape, where there are some of the best bouldering locations in the UK like the Southern Sandstones, who knows. But it’s always good to practise somewhere where there’s a reasonably soft landing before heading outdoors where there’s not.

NB: To the climbers. Enjoy your ascent and if you feel inclined, give a victorious wave to the cam from the top. We’ll be here watching while slouched on the sofa waiting to celebrate with you.
