Canada to USA Border Camera in Surrey

Fronted by Boundary Bay with the US-Canadian border on one side and the Frazer River on another, Surrey in British Columbia sounds like it’s nestled in no man’s land, but it’s not.

You can’t see a great deal of the city on this live feed streamed by Border Buddy, just the border crossing, so you might wonder why there’s no queues of vehicles waiting to cross over. It could be because, while Surrey may be part of the super urbanised Metro Vancouver area, it’s surrounded by some of the best national parks in the province for outdoor recreation. Surrey also has superb beaches with views to die for and an oceanfront walkway you could spend all day strolling along so why go anywhere else when you’ve got it all on your doorstep?
