Los Muertos Beach Webcam in Puerto Vallarta

From a table at La Palapa restaurant, this webcam looks straight out across Los Muertos Beach in Puerto Vallarta, with perhaps one of the better lunchtime views on Camscape. There’s usually something going on, whether it’s people settling into the sun loungers, waiters weaving between tables, swimmers in the shallows or boats passing across Banderas Bay. Stay around until evening and the Pacific sunset takes over.

Los Muertos is the best known beach in Puerto Vallarta and sits alongside the lively Zona Romántica, just south of the town centre. Despite the slightly alarming name, which translates as “Beach of the Dead”, it’s a decidedly cheerful place, lined with restaurants and bars and centred around the distinctive sail-shaped Los Muertos Pier.

The camera is hosted by La Palapa, which has been serving food right on the beach since the late 1950s. As webcams go, this one does rather feel as though it’s deliberately showing off. Sunshine, breakfast on the sand, warm sea and someone bringing drinks to your table. Probably best avoided while eating a supermarket sandwich at your desk.
