St. Ives Harbour & Carbis Bay

Tourists pack into the narrow streets of St. Ives in Cornwall during summer months to see the beautiful harbour and sandy beaches. Also known for its art scene, with the Tate gallery in town, the little shops also serve to display and sell the wares of local craftspeople and artists. What was once a hidden gem can now be outrageously busy but still a very enjoyable place to visit. Many people take the train from nearby Carbis Bay which makes a daytrip a lot easier, as traffic can be problematic.

The webcams give you a couple of great views on the harbour front where many pleasant restaurants and pubs are – not forgetting the ever present ice creams and Cornish pasties!
