Lowther Pavilion Theatre Webcams, Lytham Saint Annes

If you were hoping to catch a sneaky glimpse of one of the shows taking place at the Lowther Pavilion Theatre in Lytham St Annes on this collection of webcams, you’ve got no chance. What you can do though is take a look at who is running amok in the gardens and how many spaces are left in the car park. Not quite the same, but still usefully enlightening.

Lowther Gardens has been a well-appreciated recreational part of this Lancashire town since the late 19th century. The pavilion was originally constructed after the original bandstand couldn’t cope with the crowds it attracted – even though it was only the local amateur operatic society that performed there back in the day. They must have been pretty good, but not as good as what followed. This venue has seen the likes of Thin Lizzy, Steely Dan, Fleetwood Mac and even the flute maestro himself, Ian Anderson, perform there with Jethro Tull. Who needs stadium-sized concert halls when you can see artists like those in Lytham St Annes?
