Notre Dame Cathedral Webcam in Paris

It’s hard to gauge the grandeur of this mediaeval building unless you Google search an old photograph of the Notre-Dame Cathedral. As you can see on this live feed, this iconic Paris landmark is currently under wraps and has been since 2019 when it suffered serious fire damage.

Parts of the cathedral date back as far as the 12th century and much of it has stoically withstood the tests of time including the French Revolution, two World Wars and many other unmentionable trials. If renovation work continues on track, and once the Lady of Paris has been restored to her previous glory, it’ll reopen in December 2024. In the meantime, while you’re waiting for the grand unveiling, you may find the Seine river boats passing by entertaining especially when the crews give the cam a wave. Even though they can’t see you, make sure to give them a wave back.
