Elburg is a historic, inland fishing town on the Drontermeer Canal in central Holland with a medieval heart that attracts more tourism than it ever did fishmongers.

While the days of the fishing fleets are long gone, and the harbor is now full of pleasure craft, Elburg stays true to its heritage. You won’t see any silver-scaled aquatic creatures being sold on this live feed streaming from Elburg marketplace, but you may well spot one or two folk tucking into a plateful of fish and chips.
