Renesse on the Island of Schouwen-Duiveland

Renesse is a resort town on the north coast of the Dutch island of Schouwen-Duiveland. It’s got a lot going for it in the spring and summer, but is sadly lacking, particularly where the weather is concerned, in winter.

Renesse is a popular spot for watersports, has close to twenty-one kilometres of sandy beach, a historic centre full of interesting architecture and a great nightlife scene. That may all sound exciting, but it’s not as much fun as the Port of Renesse webcam. Click into that feed and you’ll feel like you’re viewing Renesse while taking a carousel ride. Going round and round is definitely different, but be careful not to get too dizzy and fall off your chair.
