KMVT Weather Cam in Twin Falls
There’s definitely not sunshine all the time in Twin Falls, Idaho, so if you feel the need to check out the weather before you leave the house, or you make a decision about what clothes to wear, this is the ideal webcam for you. Unfortunately, there’s no sound on this feed being streamed by KMVT so you can’t get a verbal update while rooting through your closest. If you see spots of water on the screen that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s raining.
Those stray drops may be just a bit of spray that’s been blown in the wind from the nearby car wash. Keep viewing for a couple of minutes to make sure you don’t leave home in an overcoat when what you really need to put on is a short-sleeved shirt. While the car wash appears to be the central focus of this webcam view, and a very attractive car wash it is too, don’t be misguided in thinking the reason most people head to Twin Falls is to give their vehicle a spruce up. It’s not.
Twin Falls has several claims to fame. It’s a city which occupies over fifty square kilometres of Magic Valley, a valley forged into the landscape by the force of the Snake River. Which is a fact that doesn’t make it famous at all, but was interesting to include. What folks head to Twin Falls in droves to see is the natural wonder of Shoshone Falls, a sixty-five metre high multi-cascade waterfall, and to stand in the spot where stuntman extraordinaire, Evel Kneival, chose to launch his souped-up motorcycle from in an attempt to cross the Snake River Canyon. Sometimes even the best of plans can go wrong. If you go out in the wrong clothes for the weather don’t worry. It’s nowhere near as bad as ending up in the Guinness Book of Records for suffering the most broken bones in your lifetime.
