The course is secluded among forests of pine trees and backed by the rugged peaks of a mountain range where Humphreys Peak, an extinct volcano, dominates the skyline. Considering the Pine Canyon Golf Course is located in one of the driest and hottest states in America, renowned for its deserts and the Grand Canyon, its swathes of well-kept greens are a tribute to the greenkeepers hard work, and quite probably, an extraordinarily efficient irrigation system.

If you’re a golfing addict and the above description has enticed you to consider heading there to t-off, book yourself a flight to Flagstaff, Arizona. Even if you’re not a golfing addict, you’ll find it an interesting city to visit. Think historic sections of Route 66 to motor along and some nearby lunar-style landscapes, where astronauts trained to walk on the moon, that are more than photo-worthy for anyone’s social media.

Can you see any of this luxurious championship golf course or the stupendous, and very diverse, surrounding scenery on this live feed? Well, the answer to that is no. The cam is focused on the reception desk which, if the truth were told, could probably do with a bit of a tidy up. Our guess is, it’s probably more enjoyable to be outdoors here than in. Who wants to be stuck inside doing paperwork, answering the phone and filing bill receipts away when you could be outside enjoying breathing in the aromatic scent of damp grass and pine trees? No-one, that’s who and who can blame them?
