Las Palmas Webcam From La Luz Port in Gran Canaria
Gran Canaria is a rocky, sun-baked, wind-blown Spanish island around a hundred miles, as a seagull flies, off the east coast of northwest Africa. While the island is mostly renowned as a high volume tourist destination, its capital, Las Palmas, has one of the busiest ports in Spain.
On this live feed streamed by Wing Cam, you’ll get your fill of maritime traffic with just about every shape and size of sailing vessel that exists and the odd oil rig or two as well. Cruise ships, container ships, navy and coast guard boats and yachts. This cam is just as interesting after dark as the nighttime views of the marina and city are quite spectacular. If you find you’re just looking at an open expanse of the Atlantic where there’s nothing more than a bobbing buoy to be seen, be patient. The cam will pan around and then you’ll be oohing and aahing like the rest of us.
