Phoenix City Cams

North, south, east and west, this collection of webcams really shows off the city of Phoenix in Arizona at its very best. They do, in fact, leave no point of the compass unexplored.

Located on the edge of the Sonoran Desert in the dry and dusty Salt River Valley, the city is surrounded by numerous peaks and mountain ranges including Camelback Mountain, the White Tank Mountains, the Sierra Estrella and the Superstition Mountains to name just four of them. No matter what direction you look, there are mountains in the distance somewhere. If you want to put a name to the ones you’re seeing, you’ll need your own compass, Google maps and some serious cartography skills to work out which are which. When it gets too confusing, give up and do what Glen Campbell did, write a song about the city instead.
