The Czech Republic in central Europe is a beautiful place to visit. The capital and largest city is Prague which is nicknamed ‘The City of a Hundred Spires’. Some of Prague’s finest historic buildings can be seen on our Czech Republic Webcams along with the astronomical clock and Charles Bridge.
The country is known for its horses which can also be enjoyed from one of our well-placed webcams. From 1948 to1989 Czechoslovakia was a communist state which was peacefully dissolved into the Czech Republic and Slovakia through what was later called the ‘Velvet Revolution’. The main river which runs through the west of the country is the River Elbe.
Today the Castle of Castolovice exists for its visitors. Apart from the Museum, it has concerts, weddings and wedding receptions as well as banquets and conferences. Indoor and outdoor café, restaurant, a snack bar and a gift shop.
