Porec is a beautiful little town with plenty to interest. It is clean and safe. You can take the bus to Rovinj (45-50 mnutes)to see a place on a par with the beauty of Venice - and from Porec you can take the high-speed ferry to Venice itself in the morning,and be back back in Porec that evening. I try to go twice each yesr, bridging May into June, and September into October. I'm booked to return in about three weeks time - the journey for me is very difficult - but it's worth it.

never been to porec and am feeling a bit nervous but the pics look great. made me feel a bit beter and weather seems ok
