Austria Webcams
Austria is a republic in central Europe. It is known for its alpine scenery, lakes, hiking and skiing and snowsports in the winter months. The official language is German, but Croatian, Hungarian and Slovene is also spoken.
It is one of the richest countries in the world with a high standard of living. The capital city is Vienna, although Salzburg is well known for its music (Mozart was born here) and its culture, along with Graz. The region of Wachau is famous for its vineyards, romantic castles and pretty towns.
