Dragon Bridge in Da Nang

If ever a group of engineers wanted to make a bold statement, then they did it with the design of the Dragon Bridge in Da Nang.

The Dragon Bridge crosses the River Hán in about as theatrically dramatic a form as it’s possible to get. Most designers would probably have stopped with scaled gold-painted arches and an enormous open-mouthed head rising above the traffic lanes. Not this team though, they went just a little further. This dragon bridge breathes fire and spouts water at weekends. Now that’s impressive engineering.
