Scotland Webcams

The area north of the English border is Scotland which includes around 790 remote and isolated islands. The North Sea and the Atlantic hold some of the largest oil reserves in Europe. Scotland is known for its beautiful lochs, ancient castles and stunning mountain scenery, although it is often hidden by mist and drizzle.

The largest city in Scotland is Glasgow and the capital city is Edinburgh. Both cities feature high on the Scotland webcams along with a camera webcam focused on Loch Ness, just in case Nessy puts in an appearance. Scotland is well known for its Scotch whisky, St Andrews Golf Course and its tartan kilts.

Inventions to come out of Scotland include the television, telephone, finger printing, the rules of golf, tyres and tarmac.
