Close together and similar in appearance, there’s just a ten minute drive and the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway separating Ocean Isle Beach and Sunset Beach.

Having beach in their names is not the only thing these two small coastal towns have in common. Ocean Isle Beach and Sunset Beach partially occupy a barrier island off the coast of North Carolina, are connected to the mainland by bridges, have superb, and often deserted beaches with fishing piers and are surrounded by marshland. The best thing they share though is being ideally situated to see the daily spectacular of the sun rising above the North Atlantic Ocean horizon.
