Oregon Webcams
Oregon is situated on the windswept Pacific northwest coast of the US. It has more ghost towns than any other state, as progress leaves these once prosperous settlements in decline. The 8000 foot deep Hell’s Canyon is not surprisingly the deepest river gorge in North America and Crater Lake is the deepest lake in the US. At Blue River one of our Oregon Webcams is trained on the world’s tallest lit Christmas tree.
More activity can be seen at Coos Bay where the webcam may show surf, storms, ships, boaters and more. Nine lighthouses still stand along the coastline although only 5 are still in use. Portland, the largest city is known as the City of Roses and the capital city of Salem stands on the lovely Willamette River. Windsurfers actually practice their sport in the Columbia River Gorge which is said to be one of the best places in the world for this sport.
