Aruba is the proverbial paradise made reality and a Dutch territory in the Caribbean Sea closer to Venezuela than it is to the Netherlands. It may be small, cover a mere seventy-five square miles, and be pretty awkward to get to from some parts of the world, but that doesn’t deter the two million plus visitors who take their vacations there every year. The luxury resorts lining its palm-fringed beaches are definitely worth the trek if you want to truly relax. Relax you will do too when you’re there as there’s not a great deal of anything else to do in Aruba apart from enjoy the tranquil seascapes from your balcony.
