The mid-Atlantic coastal state of New Jersey is the most densely populated state in the US and lies between the Metropolitan areas of New York and Philadelphia. The area was inhabited by native Americans for more than 2800 years. Its key position led to it booming in the Industrial Revolution and its prosperity continues today.
