Australia’s Northern Territory is a half a million square mile chunk of the country where there’s more kangaroos than people. It’s an area that contains over twenty-five national parks and nature reserves including Australia’s famous landmark, Ayers Rock, as well as some incomparable beaches like Darwin Beach which is the one you can see here on the Fanny Bay webcam. Sadly, nature always gives paradise an unkind twist and the Garden of Eden-style coastline of the NT is infested with saltwater crocodiles and box jellyfish. It’s not worth the risk of even dipping your big toe in the sea there unless you want to risk getting it stung or being a quick snack for a twenty foot long prehistoric beast.
