Denmark is a Scandinavian country, best known as the land of Hans Christian Andersen, Legoland and Danish bacon. It is a constitutional monarchy and a member of the EU although it has retained its currency, the Danish Krone. It is situated between the Baltic and the North Sea and its only border is with Germany.
It is a large welfare state with one of the best business climates in the world and surveys ranked it as ‘the happiest place in the world’.
