The tiny country of Northern Ireland has a population of less than 2 million. The capital is Belfast and its industrious shipyard was where the ill-fated HMS Titanic was built and launched. The Giant’s Causeway is a collection of around 40,000 strangely formed hexagonal pillars of varying heights. Guinness is a famous Irish drink along with Irish whiskey which is made at the local distillery at Bushmills.
