Suffolk Webcams
The easterly county of Suffolk is well known for its rural natural beauty. Captured on canvas by artists such as John Constable, life in some places has barely changed in the last 200 years. The low-lying wetlands run down to the east coast. The major port of Felixstowe is one of the busiest container ports in Europe.
In Medieval times Suffolk’s wool trade made it one of the richest areas in England and there is a wealth of manor houses and churches to prove it. The county town of Ipswich dates back to Anglo-Saxon times and has some very interesting historic buildings, antique shops and tea rooms which are worth visiting. Suffolk webcams enthusiasts may also appreciate having the “the self-confessed worst webcam on the internet”!
