Anyone who has not visited the Isle of Man is missing out on a rare treat. Home to the exciting motorcycle TT race, it has Viking castles, steam trains, golf galore and an ancient abbey. The major towns are Douglas and Ramsey and they have busy harbours, Victorian promenades and great places to eat. From the highest point on Snaefell, easily reached by the Mountain Railway, views encompass England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales on a clear day.
