Cambridgeshire is situated on the River Fen is an idyllic setting in east Anglia. Best known for its famous university, the historic buildings dominate the city and can easily be enjoyed on some of the Cambridgeshire webcams including what’s going on in the local Lambretta shop.
Many of the historic and stunningly grand buildings date back to 1546 when Trinity college was founded by King Henry VIII whose statue presides over the gateway, weirdly sporting a chair leg in place of his sceptre! Other towns worthy of a visit are Ely, Peterborough, Huntingdon and St Neots.
