Berkshire Webcams
Berkshire proudly boasts that it is one of the oldest counties in England and probably goes back even earlier than the recorded date of 846AD. Nicknamed the “Royal County” its most famous landmark is Windsor Castle, just one of the beautiful places you can enjoy on the Berkshire webcams.
Berkshire now includes Ascot, famous for its racecourse, or rather its hats at the racecourse. Interesting places include the Ostrich Pub at Colnbrook where King John stayed prior to signing the Magna Carta in 1215. Henry I is buried at Reading Abbey and Jane Austen attended the Abbey school there.
